Indicaci�n

Treatment of duodenal ulcers and benign gastric ulcer, including those complicated by treatments with non-steroidal antinflammatory drugs (NSAID). Prophylactic treatment of duodenal ulcer, benign gastric ulcer and/or gastroduodenal erosion, caused by non-steroidal antinflammatory drugs (NSAID) in risk patients (elderly patients and/or patients with gastroduodenal erosion in their family history), who require ongoing treatment with NSAIDs. Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Omeprazole is suitable to treat oesophageal stricture from reflux, serious symptoms of non-inflammatory reflux disease and minor symptoms which do not respond to the usual treatment. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Treatment of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer related to Helicobacter pylori, both in dual therapy (treatment combined with amoxicillin or clarithromycin) and in triple therapy (combined treatment with two antimicrobial agents at the same time) where the eradication rate is significantly higher with a shorter treatment.
